Dear trainee, we provide you with an Academic Integrity Charter which you must adhere to and implement in your conduct within the platform.

Absolute academic integrity in all training programs is required and expected from every trainee at the Institute of Leadership Development. Commitment to full honesty, avoiding manipulation or cheating on educational systems, and respecting intellectual efforts is one of the mandatory requirements. Trainees and trainers at the institute are expected to adhere to these standards to enhance the quality and value of training. This charter specifically addresses the behavior of trainees and trainers, as the Institute has systems and policies to monitor participant behavior and will not tolerate any violation of academic integrity laws.

To ensure identity verification, the Institute uses two-factor authentication via email to prevent cheating and impersonation. The process requires the trainee to have an active email used for course registration. The steps are as follows:

The student first logs in via the Nafath platform. Upon confirming registration and verifying data, they are redirected to the institute's platform to complete course registration. The registration requires the following data:

  • Full name as on ID/passport in the platform.
  • Email: must be active and not random.
  • Check the verification email in all email folders.
  • The trainee may open a support ticket if there are any updates to the email and provide official documents to verify identity.

Examples of academic integrity violations include:

  • Authorizing someone else to enter the virtual training room on behalf of the trainee.
  • Receiving or providing unauthorized assistance in training activities. The institute continuously verifies trainee identities by issuing virtual classroom access matching registered platform names, preventing fake attendance.
  • Cheating: copying others' work or unauthorized use of notes or assigned tasks.
  • Intellectual theft or plagiarism: quoting others' work or ideas without proper reference in academic tests.
  • Misuse of academic help: a student exploiting a colleague’s work without informing them.
  • Collaboration abuse: relying on another student in the group to complete assignments, or exploiting others for individual tasks.
  • Forgery: altering information on previous certificates or presenting fake medical excuses to miss training.
  • Impersonation: claiming to be someone else in courses, exams, or assignments.

Methods to detect violations:

  • Individual discussion in virtual classes, e.g., asking the trainee to explain a specific part of the curriculum.
  • Requesting trainees to document what they learned in special assignments.

Disciplinary actions regarding impersonation and cheating:

The disciplinary committee, upon confirming violations, may impose one or more of the following penalties:

  • Verbal warning documented with a written commitment or written notice.
  • Temporary suspension from completing the course or program or some services.
  • Exclusion from the course or program in cases of impersonation or cheating.
  • Permanent ban from all institute programs.

In case of disciplinary decisions: penalties are recorded in the trainee’s file, and the trainee’s account is permanently suspended on the institute platform.
